I am on the writing committee at ISU as a grad student representative even though I got a C in a grad level "rhetoric" course last semester, and even though I am not a GA.

It is good to serve. I am muy busy though. Got 20-30 papers to grade for my students, and have conferences with them next week. Also got lots of things to do for my own classes... so I am constantly running. That is okay by me... just wish I had more energy.

So, gotta see Super Bad this week since it looks like it is going to leave the cinemas soon. Got to do lots of little things like that. Also a documentary on Buddhism is being shown at the Normal Theatre....

Love all my classes, love all my students... even the ones who hate me. Love them too. Love myself. Love my belly button, love my credit card statements, love my rent that is due, and my powerbill. Love the traffic, love asleep at the wheel being, love the sunny weather, love the sweaty weather, love the clicking away of keyboards clacking, love the moon, love the ugly moon, love the ugly beautiful ugly moon. Love the gonads.
